Once the water reaches the correct temperature, the light will burn steadily and you
will hear an endsignal. After 5 minutes, the kettle will turn off automatically. The device
will then go into 'stand-by' mode. By pushing a random button, the device will become
activated again. You will have to select a temperature again if you wish to heat the water.
You can also turn the kettle off sooner by pressing the selected temperature again.

Remove the kettle from the base and pour the water. Be careful when pouring the water,
since the boiling water or hot steam may burn you. Do not open the lid when the water in
the kettle is hot.
The water kettle can remain on its base when the appliance is not being used.
Make sure that the water kettle does not receive any power when it is not being used, so
always unplug the appliance when not in use.
If by accident you would use the kettle without water in it, the boil dry protection will
automatically switch off the appliance. The LED lighting of the temperature buttons will
begin to flash. If this happens, let the water kettle cool down completely before filling the
kettle with cold water to start the boiling process.
HEAT RETENTION FUNCTION
If the device has reached the desired temperature, you can press the 'KEEP WARM' button.
The water will then stay warm for 30 minutes. You can then pour water without any problems.
The memory function causes the kettle to continue to heat the water when you return it to
the base.
Note: this function is not available if you boil the water at 100 °C, but it is at 60 °C, 70 °C, 80 °C
and 90 °C.
TYPES OF TEA
Black tea: this tea is made by allowing the leaves of the tea plant to oxidize completely.
The recommended temperature for the tea water is 90 °C, allowing the tea to steep for
3 - 5 minutes.
Green tea: green tea is the most healthy type of tea. The tea is obtained by heating and
drying the leaves after harvesting them. The recommended temperature for the tea water
is 60-80 °C, allowing the tea to steep for 3 minutes.
Oolong tea: this type of tea is also called blue tea and is between green and black tea. This
tea is at its best if you allow it to steep 6 to 8minutes in water at 80-90 °C.
White tea: this type of tea is rare and is made from the young buds of the tea bush. The
recommended temperature for the water is 70-80 °C, allowing the tea to steep for about 5
minutes.
Herbal tea: herbal tea cannot be regarded as tea because it is not made from the leaves of
the tea plant. Herbal tea is made from herbs and/or spices and is an infusion. This tea is at
its best at a temperature of 90-100 °C and allowed to steep for 5 to 7 minutes.
