REPLACEMENT OF THE BATTERY
1. When the display appears fuzzy, the battery needs to be replaced.
2. Remove battery cover; slide out and lift cover upward.
Remove the used battery and insert a new one CR2025 into the battery compartment.
Be sure that the battery is inserted correct polarity.
3. In normal conditions, the dual readouts should immediately appear; if however the temperature
or humidity display is blank, remove the battery and re-insert it again.
This should reset the display.

ADVISE
The humidity is measured in a percentage (%). The acceptable level of moisture is between 40% and 60% Relative
Humidity (R.H.). Outside this area, it is recommended to compensate in adding or removing moisture from the air with a
dehumidifier or a humidifier.
Discarding worn household devices
The European directive 2002/96/EC pertaining to electrical and electronic waste prohibits such household goods from
being discarded with local refuse services. Worn devices must be collected separately to optimize the recovery and
recycling rates of the components therein to reduce detrimental effects on the environment and on human health.
The "crossed out rubbish bin" symbol is affixed to all products as a reminder to respect the waste regulations.
