CONFIGURATION
First, make sure both speakers are connected; alternatively, connect an active audio
source to the AUX input (RCA or SPDIF/Toslink cable).
1. Programming the remote control address
• Press AUX until the RF LED lights up continuously.
• Make a 3-digit combination on the numeric keypad on the remote control. (111
to 666).
• Press briefly AUX to save the combination.
• Repeat the aforementioned procedure if necessary to connect up to 10 con-
trols with different addresses.
2. Connecting the remote to the Hyde
• Press and hold the set-up button on the unit for 5 seconds until the RF LED
starts to flash.
• Press OFF on the remote control. The LED will flash during the scanning
process.

When using more than one Hyde unit in the same project you must program-
me different addresses to avoid interference.
USE
1. Choice of source
Using the FM, DAB, AUX or BT keys, one of these sources can be selected.
2. FM
Press for longer (>2s) on << or >> to scan the waveband. After a manual search,
preset channels can be saved by pressing a numeric key on the remote control for 2
seconds. Press briefly on << or >> to select the previous of the next preset.
3. DAB

Press and hold down DAB once only to programme the DAB sets. You will hear an
audio signal during the programming. Afterwards you can search in the same way
as for FM via << and >>.
4. Bluetooth
Pair your BT compatible device first via the BT button. Press it for >2s, an audio
signal will sound. Up to 16 devices can be connected. Press briefly on << or >> to
select the previous or next track, press for longer on << or >> to go backward or
forward in the song. While selecting another source the current song will be stopped.
5. AUX
Press the AUX button to select the analogue audio input. A single audio signal is
played. Press the AUX button for >2s to select the SPDIF/Toslink input. A double
audio signal is played.
6. Settings
Press the
-button (>2s) to enter the settings menu, indicated by a single sound
signal. This action immediately followed by pressing the below buttons:
• Bass/Mid/Treble/Flat: selects one specific tone control preset
: a single audio signal indicates "mono" status. Repeat the action, a
double audio signal indicates "stereo" status.
• BAL (>2s): balance is reset to original position
• BAL + < of >: balance is set gradually to its L or R position, confirm with the OK
button. A single audio signal indicates end positions.
• OK + programming code of the remote control: the actual volume level is set as
maximum volume level. Repeat this action to cancel.

7. Trigger input / Update firmware
The RJ45 input can be used as a remote controlled input for any external trig-
ger (3V-15V). Detailed information on connectivity and functionality can be found
through figure n°4.
Future updates for the Hyde firmware will also be transferred via the RJ45 input.
More detailed instructions are to be found with any new firmware release.
