3. Attach the mop-pad for use (marking E) and
remove the pads for cleaning. ATTENTION: If
you'll switch between the two tankfills, it can
handle up to 10 spray actuators until the tank
selected now is activated.
4. Activate the water spray switch (marking
a) to apply the water spray; the switch
automatically returns to the starting position.
(see illustration F).
For the best results, spray only a light layer of
cleaning liquid on a small to clean surface. To do
so, press the lever (see illustration F). Ensure that
the cleaning liquid is not applied too thickly to the
floor, as it can cause too much water expansion.
Avoid mopping on the already dried coating so that
no streaks form on the floor. For wooden floors,
always clean in the direction of the wood grain.
Please note: If the spray knob is very difficult to
activate, try not to press it with too much force.
Check first if the cleaning appliance rods are
correctly connected.
Please note: Before using a new cleaning
detergent, ensure that the tank is fully cleaned.
Warning: Do not use any bleaching agent as a
cleaning detergent in the Livington Twinny Spray-
Mop.
Cleaning: The tank can be washed by hand.
Should your Livington Twinny Spray-Mop begin
to spray only small amounts of water or stop
completely, removal of limescale deposits may be
necessary. These deposits form over the course of
time and impair the performance of the Livington
Twinny Spray-Mop to a considerable extent.
Descaling off the device regularly, approximately
after the use of 25 to 50 tankfuls or at least once a
month. This applies especially to areas with hard
water. Cleaning intervals depend on the
the degree of hardness of the water and the
intensity of use of Livington Twinny Spray-Mop. In
general, you may use tap water for the Livington
Twinny Spray-Mop. However, in areas with hard
water, we recommend the use of distilled water for
improved performance.
Storage Advice: For protection of the rubber
lip, please store the Livington Twinny Spray-Mop
with the mop head positioned in accordance with
illustration G.
