Clean
Do not use a high-pressure cleaner and do not flush water on the wheelchair. This
might cause damage to the electricity system etc. Clean the wheelchair with a moist
towel and a gentle cleaning agent. For upholstery use vacuumcleaner and upholstery
cleaner. The seat cushion is detachable and can be machine washed in 40 degrees C.
Do not dry in tumble-drier or drying cupboard!
Inflate tires
The wheel pressure needs to be checked regularly. The driving wheels (rear wheels)
shall have a pressure of 2.8 Bar. The front wheels shall have 2.6 Bar. Low air pressure
can cause extra wear and tear to the wheels.
Replace tubes
Place pieces of board under all wheels except the one that shall be amended.
Remove the wheel using a 15 mm wrench. Let the air out of the tube and remove
the tyre from the rim. Replace the old tube with a new one. Restore and mount the
wheel. Don't forget to tighten the nut. Inflate the wheel to specified air pressure.
Replace fuses
The fuse is placed under the plastic cover of the wheel unit. The cover is Velcro
fastened and is easy to pull off. The main fuse of 50 Ampere is placed on the red
cable. A defective fuse might be caused by a major fault of the electric system. Take
the wheelchair to an Authorized workshop.
