• Let the appliance cool down for at least 10 minutes before
drying the container with a cloth or using the appliance
again.
WARNING:
• Set the main switch to " " position. Remove the plug from the wall
outlet. Wait until the device has cooled down.
• Never immerse the container with base heater into water. This
could cause electric shock or fire.
CAUTION:
• Do not use any wire brush or other abrasive objects.
• Do not use any acidic or abrasive detergents.
Clean the appliance including its accessories with a damp cloth
only.
Decalcification
If using tap water for disinfection, limescale will form on the
heating surface of the container. Regularly remove such limes-
cale in order to ensure proper operation of the appliance.
• The frequency of the decalcifying operation depends on
the hardness of the water and on how often the appliance
is used.
• Please do not use vinegar but a commercially available
decalcification agent on the basis of citric acid. Only use
the quantities stated in the instructions.
• Pour out the liquid after removing limescale. Rinse the
container with clear water and then wipe it dry with a cloth.
Troubleshooting
• It is not possible to switch the machine on.

- Check the socket with another appliance.
- Plug in the mains plug correctly.
- Check the main circuit breaker.
