Power strips with surge protection

Safety Instructions
1.1
General
Read the user manual completely and carefully before use.
It is part of the product and contains important information for correct use.
Keep this user manual.
It must be available for uncertainties and passing the product.
Do not open the housing.
Voltage-free only with pulled plug.
Only let a trained electrical engineer do installation, disassembling, main-
tenace and repairing work.
Compare the specifications of product, power supply and peripherals.
These must be identical.
Do not repair defective products by yourself, but contact the dealer or
producer.
Do not modify or alter product nor accessories.
Avoid stresses such as heat and cold, moisture and direct sunlight, vibra-
tion and mechanical pressure.
Only use in dry ambience.

The overvoltage protection is active when the surge protection indicator
is on.

Description and Function
2.1
Description
Your product is a power strip with extension cable for home use. It comes with an
overvoltage protection and a power switch with operation indicator and has a shock-
resistant housing, child protection and a cable management system.

Intended Use
We do not permit using the device in other ways like described in chapter
Description and Function. Use the product only in dry interior rooms. Not
attending to these regulations and safety instructions might cause fatal
accidents, injuries, and damages to persons and property.

Preparing
Compare the specifications of product, power supply and
peripherals. These must be identical.
Check the scope of delivery for completeness and integrity.

Connecting

1.
Connect your household devices to the power strip.
2.
Connect the power strip to a good accessible safety power
socket.
3.
Switch the power switch to "I".
4.
Disconnect all cable connections after use or switch the
power switch to "O".

Operating
There are no operating elements to operate during use.

Protection circuits
If the surge protection indicator is off despite the input voltage is present, proceed as
follows:
1.
Remove the power strip from the mains socket.
2.
Remove the cause of the fault.
3.
Reactivate the surge protection by pressing „PRESS TO
RESET".
4.
Plug the power strip into the mains socket.
5.
Turn the power switch to „I".
Although not shining, there is no voltage applied by the mains connection
or the integrated temperature protection has been activated. In this case,
the power strip must be replaced.

Maintenance and Cleaning
The products are maintenance-free.
Material damage
Clean only with a dry, soft cloth.
Do not use cleaning agents and chemicals.
Store cool and dry.
Keep and use the original packaging for transport.
