USE OF THE SUMMER VENTILATION MODE
Set the selector to the Summer Ventilation
used during summer.
USE OF THE ENVIRONMENT THERMOSTAT MODE
This model is also equipped with a device – the Environment Thermostat – which, once the desired ambient
temperature has been set, controls and keeps such temperature until a new value is set.
To use this mode:
♦ Turn clockwise the thermostat knob to the maximum position.
♦ Turn the power selector until the II power position (2000W).
♦ Wait for the environment to reach the desired temperature.
♦ Slowly turn the knob anticlockwise until turning off the appliance, which is indicated through the
thermostat tripping.
♦ In this way, the temperature will be automatically adjusted and kept constant along time by the thermostat,
which will automatically activate the appliance when the ambient temperature falls below the desired
temperature.
USE OF THE TIMER 24H MODE
In the central part of the timer there is a 3 positions slide switch.
In the position "O", the timer continues to run but no power is fed to the heater.
In the position "I", the timer is excluded and the appliance works continuously.
In the central position "
set by the segments.
SETTING THE TIMER
Ensure the slide switch on the timer is at the mid position next to the clock symbol.
Adjust the timer by turning it clockwise (NEVER TURN THE TIMER ANTICLOCKWISE) until the current
time is lined up with the arrow pointer, i.e. if the timer is being set is 8pm, rotate the outer ring until the number
20 is in line with the arrow pointer.
There are 96 small segments on the timer. Each of them represents a 15-minute interval.
To set the heater operating times, you need to move outwards the segments corresponding to the times in which
you want the appliance to be off and move inwards the segments corresponding to the times in which you want
the appliance to operate.
When set, the heater will operate each day during the timers programmed.
Note: to ensure that the heater turns on, the heater must always be plugged into a power socket, the power
selector must not be in "0" position and the thermostat must be suitably set.
If the heater is required to run continuously the slide switch on the timer should be set to the "I" position.
If it is subsequently required to revert back to timer operation, the slide switch on the timer should be set to the
central (clock) position.
Note: When using in timer mode, due consideration should be given to the fact that the heater may come on
whilst unattended.
SAFETY MEASURES
To avoid damages and dangerous situations caused by overheating, the fan heater is equipped with a safety
device that stops its operation in case of overheating, for example, due to a total or partial obstruction of the
grills. In this case, disconnect the appliance from the mains socket, wait for around 30 minutes so that it cools
down, and remove the object that is obstructing the grills. At this point, it is possible to start the appliance again,
as described above. The appliance should operate correctly.
Should the problem come up again, contact the nearest support centre.
