5 Battery Charging
WARNING
•
Do not charge the battery if the temperature is lower than 0°C.
•
Do not charge overnight or when you are not able to observe the e-scooter.
•
Do not charge directly after riding. Let the device cool for an hour before charging.
•
Only the original charger can be used. Please refer to your retailer in case replacement is required.
•
When the indicator light is red: this grants that the charge is proceeding.
When the indicator light is turned to green colour, which means the battery is fully charged.
Please stop charging, Remove the cable of the battery charger. Put the cover back to position. Charging takes around 4 hours.
Too long charging time will affect the battery life.
• Charge the battery before using the electric scooter for the first time.
• When you find the power-indicator shows very low energy, please stop riding for your safety.
• Try to recharge after each ride, which can greatly extend the service life of the battery.
• Charging should be in a safe, dry and clean environment.
•
The scooter must be powered-off before proceeding with charging.
• Do not use the scooter when charging the battery.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent, or similarly qualified person,
in order to avoid a hazard.
