IdeTronic introduces the new line of Can Bus alarms, HPS 841, which can be interfaced to the vehicle's original remote control through the CAN BUS
(Controller Area Network).
This technology allows an installation easy and fast, as well as a bigger security of the system.
HPS 841 is a UNIVERSAL antitheft device, compatible with a great number of vehicles (see application specification table).
The vehicles selection is very simplified because it is made during installation, by positioning two selectors present in the new antitheft device (see figure)
A specific installation sheet showing all the connections and photos of the installation is created for each vehicle available in our compatibility list. The
following diagram shows a general connection line
NOTE:
The alarm output (WHITE/RED wire) is of POSITIVE type; in case the vehicle's horn control or the satellite anti-theft device require a negative signal, just
simply move the jumper placed inside the HPS841 control unit, from position 1-2 to position 2-3. See photo

: the control device must be located inside under the dashboard, avoiding to fix it to moving parts of the car (steering wheel, etc).

Press the CLOSING button of the remote-control. The
arming will be confirmed by:

Once the signalling of arming is over, the alarm will stay for 10 seconds into "neutral time" condition, signalled by the fixed light of the LED. The flashing of
the LED of the dashboard will indicate that the system supervises the vehicle and is ready to signal the alarms.
In case of attempt to brake in, the system will emit an optic-acoustic signal (flashing of the blinkers and sound of the horn or of the siren, if installed, for 30
seconds, repeated.
To stop the alarm signalling without disarming, press the LOCKING button of the remote control
To stop the alarm signalling and disarming press the OPENING button of the remote control.
If 3 consecutive alarm activations occur due to the same sensor being triggered consecutively, the system will exclude the horn or the siren upon the fourth
activation. Signalling will only activate the blinkers. During this condition, the engine is still immobilised.
Alarm armed , 10 second after arming, press the LOCKING push- button of the remote control: central unit will do an alarm cycle of about 30 second.
