Symbol indications
In this instruction manual and when displaying on the product, we use various symbols in order to show the
correct and safe usage and so as to avoid harm to you, other persons or any damage to property. The symbols
and their meanings are as follows. Please understand the contents thoroughly before reading this instruction
manual.

Instructions for safe use

• Avoid rough handling, and do not use for purposes other than that intended.
If objects are placed on the seat and it is used as a cart, there is a danger of it overturning causing an accident
or the objects falling. Do not stand on the chair or sit on the very front lip of the seat or the armrest. There is a
risk of you falling resulting in injury.
• Note on modifi cation.
Modifying by yourself may cause a safety problem, so please contact your dealer before doing so. Please take
all necessary safety considerations at your own responsibility for any modifi cation performed without our
agreement.
Be careful not to get your fi ngers or hand caught in the gaps of the reclining device underneath seat.
• Using on plastic tiles.
Please use (soft) thermo-plastic rubber wheel casters on tile fl oors since the (hard) double-wheel casters are
slippery and may cause a fall. The (hard) double-wheel casters are suitable for rugs and carpeted fl oors, etc.
• Note on using adjustable armrests.
When you adjust the position of the armrests, be careful not to get your fi ngers, hand or clothes caught in the
gaps between the moving parts or at the back of the pad. Also, please make sure that the arms are secured
fi rmly before use.
