Anleitung FH 70 01036-SPK7
Aluminium frame with glass in sides and lights:
1. Proceed as described under greenhouses, item
2 and 3. See fig. 9.
2. If neither the frame bracket nor the window
bracket can be fitted to the aluminium frames,
the enclosed mounting bracket (12) should be
fitted. If none of the brackets supplied can be
fitted, you should make your own brackets.
Wooden frames and frames with plastic sheets:
1. On wooden frames the brackets can be screwed
directly on to the woodwork, see fig. 9.
2. On frames using plastic sheets in sides and
lights holes should be drilled through the
sheeting and the clamps are used as nuts for the
screws, see fig. 9.
3. Disconnect the frame bracket (9) from the arms
(7) and fit it to the frame.
4. Fit the window bracket (10) to the frame of the
light.
5. Assemble the arms (7) and the frame bracket (9)
as shown in fig. 8 and check that the lid can be
opened and fully closed. Now dismount the
entire opener and proceed as described under
greenhouses, item 4.
6. Screw the cylinder (1) into the cylinder housing
(2) and fit the entire opener again.
Installing the window opener in Profi aluminium
greenhouses (Fig. 10)
1. Fit one clip (11) on the window fitting (10) using
screws M4x10 mm (short). The clip only needs to
be secured loosely.
2. Install the second clip (11) on the frame fitting (9)
in the top holes using a screw M4x15 mm (long).
3. Fasten the compensation bracket (13) in the
center of the bottom window profile using two
lozenge-headed bolts M6x10 mm and hex nuts
M6, as shown in the Figure.
4. Measure how far you can open your window.
4.1 Window can be opened at least 42 cm
Insert the piston rod (3) through the cylinder
suspension device (2) into the coupling T-section
(4). The hole in the piston rod must be moved
below the hole »a« in the coupling Tsection.
Then insert the split pin (5) through the holes
(see Fig. 4).
4.2 Window can be opened between 30 and 42
cm
Use the same procedure as described above
except: remove the plastic cover from the

coupling T-section (4), use the hole »b« and
install the stop split pin (6) on the arm (7) (see
Fig. 5).
Installing the window opener in Opal, Smaragd,
Rubin and Comfort greenhouses
1. For each window you will require in addition two
self-tapping screws 4.2x13 mm, spare part No.
50.521.60.
2. Take the installation bracket (12) out of the
window opener bag and drill two holes to insert
the self-tapping screws (Fig. 11).
3. Drill two holes with a diameter of 2 mm into the
window stop profile (see greenhouse manual)
and then secure the bracket (12) on the window
stop section using the two self-tapping screws
(Fig. 12).
If you have installed it correctly, the window
opener will be as shown in Fig. 13.
Adjustment:
It is recommended that the opener is adjusted only
when the temperature in the greenhouse is constant
as it will take some time before it has responded
completely to changes in the temperature. If you
want the opener to start opening the window at a
different temperature adjustment may be done by
turning the cylinder:
Clockwise to achieve an earlier/higher
opening.
Counter clockwise to achieve a later/lower
opening.
One turn corresponds to app. 0.5°C. – Please note
that the temperature in the greenhouse may vary
considerably, also at the individual windows.
