Follow the steps below to place the lens in its case.

Rotate the focus ring to the position shown.
• The lens cannot be placed in the case while extended.

Confi rm that the front and rear lens caps are attached.

Remove the lens hood.

Place the lens and hood in the case as shown.
• Reverse the steps in "Opening the Trunk Case" (025) to close
and latch the lid. Be sure the safety locks are engaged.
