DESCRIPTION

FDI 300-2 is an interface allowing to transform constant logical level (or dry contact loops) into
continuous dry contact loops or pulses. FDI 300-2 allows transforming logical level pulses into
continuous dry contact loop as well.
Input control is on optocoupler, allowing control by external loop (FDI 300 provides positive supply or
ground) or external voltage (from 3 to 12 volts) and a full and secure insulation between equipments.
FDI 300-2 provides 3 channels, able to work separately or linked (MODE LINK). In the Link mode, it is
possible to link only SET or RESET or both.
Commands START and STOP use closed and open contacts of two relays, one for START, the other for
STOP.
There are two different working modes of relays

Pulsed contact START and/or STOP.

Wiring uses SUB-D 15 (one for each channel ).

APPLICATION

FDI 300-2 is specially designed to fulfil the studio requirements, broadcasting TV, night clubs...

FDI 300-2 allows controlling any kind of machine, from the start contact in mixing console. This can

be record or CD players, player, video recorder, MD player...
FDI 300-2 will interface all pulse remote control to equipment requiring continuous dry contact

loop.
FDI 300-2 allows using the same control for several machines.

When several channels are used together it performs a logical « OR ».

One remote control order multiplication (pulse or dry contact loop)

