Replacing the rechargeable batteries
Do not dispose of rechargeable batteries in general household
waste.
Dispose of empty rechargeable batteries in an environmentally
safe way. You can dispose of the old rechargeable batteries at
public collection points or return them to your PowerPack PC100
dealer.
➤ Release the seven Phillips screws on the rear cover of the housing
(Fig. 5, page 4) and then remove the rear cover.
➤ Lift the rechargeable battery out of its compartment.
➤ Pull off both plugs from the rechargeable battery connectors (Fig. 6,
page 4).
When you insert the new rechargeable battery, make sure that
you observe the correct polarity.
➤ Plug the red cable onto the plus terminal and the black cable onto the
minus terminal.
➤ Insert the new rechargeable battery into the compartment (Fig. 6,
page 4).
➤ Re-assemble the device and tighten the screws.

Caution!
Do not use sharp or hard objects for cleaning as these may
damage the device.
➤ Clean the interior of the PowerPack PC100 with a damp cloth from time
to time.
