DISPOSAL
Under article 13 of Italian Legislative Decree n°. 15 of July 25, 2005, "Implementation of Direc-
tives 2002/95/EC, 2002/96/EC and 2003/108/EC on the restriction of the use of certain hazar-
dous substances in electrical and electronic equipment, and the disposal of waste material", the
crossed-out wheelie bin symbol on the equipment means that the product should be collected
separately from other types of waste at the end of its useful life.
Therefore, the user is responsible for assigning the equipment, at the end of its life, to appropria-
te collection facilities for electronic and electrotechnical equipment, or returning it to the dealer
upon purchase of a new, equivalent item of equipment. Correct separate collection and the
subsequent recycling, treatment and environmentally compatible disposal of discarded equip-
ment is of aid in avoiding possible negative effects for the environment and people's health, and
facilitates the recycling of the materials the equipment is made of.
