Safety Instructions
This device may be used by children aged 8 and over and by

people with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or a
lack of experience and/or knowledge if they are supervised or
have received instruction on how to use the device safely and
have understood the dangers resulting from this.
Children must not play with the device.

Cleaning and user maintenance may not be performed by child-
■
ren, unless they are older than 8 years of age and are super-
vised.
Children younger than 8 years of age and animals must be kept
■
away from the device and the connecting cable.
Warning of hot surfaces! Only hold the hot device by the
■
handle. Avoid contact with the surface of the device du-
ring operation or shortly afterwards. It gets very hot!
The device should always be unplugged from the power sup-
■
ply if it is not supervised, and before assembly, disassembly or
cleaning.
Use the kettle only with the base station provided. Do not use
■
the base station with other devices.
Never exceed the maximum fi ll level (note Max marking on the
■
water level indicator!). If the kettle is overfi lled, boiling water
could escape from the pouring spout.
Do not make any modifi cations to the device. Also do not repla-
■
ce the mains cord yourself. If the device, the mains cord or the
device plug is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer
or customer service or by a similarly qualifi ed person (e.g. quali-
fi ed workshop) to avoid any risks.
Dangers of Injury
■
Keep the device and packaging material away from children and animals. There is a
risk of injury and suffocation!

Danger of scalding! The device should only be used and stored out of the reach of
children and animals. The mains cable must also be kept out of their reach. Otherwi-
se they might use the cable to pull the device down on themselves.
