Mounting and releasing tools
Turning the chuck mounting case (8) opens and closes the jaws
between which you place the working tools (drill bit, bit holder
etc�)� The machines are automatically equipped with a spindle stop,
which makes changing the tool using only one hand in the desired
direction very simple�
Detachable Handgrip
For safety reasons, always use the device with the detachable
handgrip (15) firmly fastened in the dovetail (16)� Turning the han-
dle loosens or tightens the dovetail joint�
You can limit drilling depth using the depth stop (17)�
Mounting a belt clip
Place the machine on a horizontal surface (e�g� a working table)�
Slide the bent end of the belt clip (12) into the base for the belt
clip (14)� Secure the belt clip (12) using a fastening screw (13) and
a corresponding screwdriver� You can mount the belt clip to the
machine from the right, as well as the left side� Be careful not to
mount the belt clip the wrong way round� The belt clip position
must correspond to the illustration�
Checking Accumulator Status
The machine is fitted with an accumulator status control panel (9)�
Press the control button (9a) on the accumulator status panel (9)�
An accumulator status indicator (9b) will light up based on the
state of charge (capacity) of the accumulator�

Electronic Safeguards
The machine is fitted with electronics designed to prevent serious
damage to the machine�
If the electronics detect any of the faults/defects below, the ma-
chine stops immediately� Proceed in accordance with the table to
remove the fault/defect�

Instructions for device cleaning
Start the motor and blow impurities and dust out of the vent holes
of the device� Use protective goggles for this operation� Clean the
external plastic parts by a wet rag and mild detergent� Though
these parts are made of the materials resistant to solvents, NEVER
use any solvent�
Instructions for cleaning the charger
Attention! Risk of electric shock. Prior to start handling
the charger, disconnect the line plug from the socket!
Impurities and dust can be removed from external charg-
er surfaces by a rag or a non-metal brush� Use neither water nor
detergents�
Attention! With respect to protection from el. shock
and preservation of the class of protection, all mainte-
nance and service operations requesting jig saw case
removal must be performed by the authorized service
centre only!

Accessories
The accessories recommended for use with this device are availa-
ble commercially in the shops with hand el� tools�
Storage
Packed appliance may be stored in dry, unheated storage place
with temperature not lower than -5 °C�
Unpacked appliance should be stored only in dry storage place
with temperature not lower than +5 °C with exclusion of all sudden
temperature changes�
Environmental protection
Power tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted for envi-
ronmental-friendly recy�
Only for EU countries:
Do not dispose of power tools into household waste!
According to the European Directive 2002/96/EC on waste electri-
cal and electronic equipment and its incorporation into national
law, power tools that are no longer suitable for must be separately
collected and sent for recovery in an environmental-friendly man-
ner�
Warranty
Our equipment is under warranty for at least 12 months with re-
gard to material or production faults in accordance with national
legislation� In the EU countries, the warranty period for exclusively
private use is 24 months (an invoice or delivery note is required as
proof of purchase)�
Damage resulting from, in particular, normal wear and tear, over-
loading, improper handling, or caused by the user or other dam-
age caused by not following the operating instructions, or any
fault acknowledged at the time of purchase, is not covered by the
warranty�
Complaints will only be acknowledged if the equipment has not
been dismantled before being sent back to the suppliers or to an
authorised NAREX customer support workshop� Store the operat-
ing instructions, safety notes, spare parts list and proof of purchase
in a safe place� In addition, the manufacturer's current warranty
conditions apply�
