User Manual
The Panda is an ideal companion not only for kids, and ful-
fills the high requirements of toy safety. Its 3 in 1 function as
speaker, mp3 and amplifier offers following features: USB
port for USB stick and card slot for SD cards (both in MP3/
WMA format), line-in function for smartphone, tablet, mp3,
mp4, etc., earphone jack, high quality stereo speakers, inclu-
ding li-ion battery.
Read and follow this manual and safety precautions care-
fully before use. Please retain instruction and packaging
since they contain important information.

Panda, rechargeable li-ion battery (3.7 V, 1000 mAh), USB
charging cable, 3.5 mm line-in cord.
Please refer to separate manual for detailed description and
pictures of buttons and controls.
How to get started
Prior to initial operation and for perfect sound quality
the battery needs to be fully recharged.
Battery installation
Open battery compartment
shown (fig. see attachment). Then close again.
Charging battery
either by connecting the USB plug
5V adapter. Charging time approx. 4 hours.
Power
Switch on unit by sliding ON-OFF switch
on. A blue LED will light up in the Pandas mouth
Playing USB stick or SD card
USB stick or SD card are plugged into the corresponding
jacks , on the backside of the Panda. The blue LED
keeps on lighting and the sound reproduction will start. If
both data mediums are connected at the same time the last
one inserted will play. Maximum support: USB sticks up to
16 GB and SD cards up to 32 GB.
Important note: Always make sure that music and stories
are filed in MP3/WMA format. Otherwise no sound re-
production possible!

Shortly press button
During play mode the LED is lighting, during pause mode
the LED is blinking.

Volume control

Play back audio files from MP3 player, smartphone, etc.
Connect the line-in jack
your audio device. Shortly press mode control M
in order to switch to line-in mode. The purple LED
appear. As soon as the connected device has been switched
on and the play button activated the Panda will play. Further
controls like pause, stop, skip forward/backward will be exe-
cuted via your original audio device. Only volume control
, can be operated via Panda or the connected device.
If Panda is in line-in mode and USB stick or SD card are
connected, it will automatically switch to this last connected
mode. The LED will change from purple to blue.
Safety precautions
Warning. Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged un-
der adult supervision. Only recharge with the supplied char-
ging cable. Do not charge the battery for over 6 hours. Non-
rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged. Batteries are
to be inserted with the correct polarity. Exhausted batteries
are to be removed from the product. Supply terminals are
not to be short-circuited. Danger of explosion if battery is in-
correctly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent
type. Transformers or battery chargers used with the toy are
to be regularly examined for damage to the cord, plug, enclo-
sure and other parts, and in the event of such damage, they
must not be used until the damage has been repaired. Do not
connect the device to more than the recommended number of
power supplies. Regularly examine the product for damage
to the cord, plug, enclosure and other parts, and in the event

been repaired. The toy shall only be used with a transformer
for toys, e.g. according to EN 61558. The transformer is not
a toy. This product is not intended for children under 3 ye-
ars. Misuse of transformer can cause electrical shock. This
product is not waterproof. It must not come into contact with
water or any other liquid. Avoid heavy impacts, and exposure
to direct sunlight or high temperature.
Disposal of this product and batteries
The crossed out wheeled bin symbol that can be
found on your product, instruction and package indi-
cates that this product should not be disposed of via the nor-
mal household waste stream. To prevent possible harm to the
environment separate this product from other waste streams
to ensure that it can be recycled in an environmentally sound
manner. The same applies for dispose of used batteries. For
more details on available collection facilities please contact
your local government.
