11. Troubleshooting
A. No picture or sound
1. Check the position of the ON/OFF switches at the back of the transmitter and the receiver.
2. Check the audio and video sources (DVD, VCR, laser disc player, CATV STB, satellite receiver, etc.).
3. Make sure all cables are connected correctly.
4. Make sure transmitter and receiver are set to the same channel.
B. Interference (picture and/or sound)
1. Turn the microwave oven off if there is one in close proximity to the device.
2. Switch to a different channel to avoid interference from other devices.
C. Poor reception quality
1. Turn the transmitter or receiver slowly and/or move it slightly in order to find a spot with better reception.
2. Make sure all A/V cables are firmly plugged in.
3. Make sure transmitter and receiver are set to the same channel.
D. Video sources cannot be operated from the second TV
1. Aim the remote control directly at the receiver and make sure there is a clear line of sight.
2. Make no sure no other wireless device (e.g. headphones) can interfere with the signal of the remote control.
3. The max. operating distance between the remote control and the receiver is 5m. Do not exceed this range.
4. Verify if the remote control LED on the transmitter blinks when a signal is sent from the remote control. If not,
move the transmitter to a location where transmitter and receiver are more than 5m apart.
5. If the remote control LED on the transmitter is blinking dimly this may indicate that interfering signals are being
picked up. Switch off the devices causing the interference (e.g. wireless headphones, speakers, etc.)
12. Maintenance
Clean the plastic housing of the receiver and transmitter gently with a soft cloth. Do NOT use a damp cloth as this
may damage the receiver and/or transmitter. Do NOT use abrasives or solvents.
