2. General Safety Instructions

Read this instruction manual thoroughly before using the appliance and save it for future reference
and if necessary pass the instruction manual on to a third party.
WARNING: When using electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always

Keep device out of reach of children and unauthorised persons.
LED lamp is non-replaceable light source, if the lamp is damaged, the luminaire must be changed.
The solar panel must be installed facing sunshine with maximum sun exposure for a minimum of
8 hours.
During winter, performances will be a ected by cold temperature and less sun exposition for panel.
2) Electrical safety
The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable; when the light source reaches its end of life
the whole luminaire shall be replaced.
WARNING! DANGER TO LIFE AND RISK OF ACCIDENTS FOR INFANTS AND CHILDREN!
Keep batteries out of the reach of children. Do not leave the batteries lying around.
There is a risk of children or animals swallowing them. Consult a doctor immediately if a battery is
swallowed.
CAUTION! DANGER OF EXPLOSION!
Other rechargeable or single-use batteries could explode during charging.

FIRE HAZARD!

Do not allow rechargeable batteries to short-circuit. Otherwise the rechargeable
batteries may overheat, become a re hazard or explode.

RISK OF EXPLOSION!

Never throw rechargeable batteries into re or water.
Chemical uids that damage the product may leak out of outdated or used rechargeable batteries.
Remove, therefore, the rechargeable batteries when the lamp is not required for any length of time.
Only use rechargeable batteries of the right size and of the recommended type. Ensure correct
polarity. This is indicated in the battery compartment for the rechargeable battery.
Defective or used rechargeable batteries have to be recycled in line with Directive 2006/66/EC.
Return rechargeable batteries and / or the device via the recycling facilities provided.
