Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the 2 Port DisplayPort MST/SST Hub. This product has been designed to provide trouble
free, reliable operation. It benefits from both a LINDY 2 year warranty and free lifetime technical support. To ensure
correct use, please read this manual carefully and retain it for future reference.
The DisplayPort MST/SST Hub has been designed to utilise the Multi-Stream capabilities of the DisplayPort interface,
allowing two DisplayPort monitors to be directly connected to a single DisplayPort interface on a PC or Notebook.
The MST Hub helps overcome the limitation of many modern computers which offer only a single video output,
allowing multiple displays to be connected without the need for purchasing an additional graphics card. With support
for two, uncompressed, independent displays with resolutions up to 4K the MST hub is perfect for professionals
requiring multiple workspaces to aide their productivity.
The SST function of this product allows you to display a single DisplayPort signal on two screens or projectors in the
same was as a splitter works.

Installation
Make sure all devices are switched off before making any connections. Once all connections have been made,
power on your monitors first, then your source device.
It may be necessary to adjust your Windows display settings if any of the monitors are not detected. Once the
displays have been detected the monitors should work as if they were connected directly to a video card.
MST has a maximum bandwidth of 21.6 Gbps; higher resolutions can restrict the available bandwidth. Exceeding
100% will prevent some monitors from displaying a picture. Please see below for average resolution bandwidths.
1920x1080@60Hz – 22%
1920x1200@60Hz – 30%
2560x1440@60Hz – 35%
2560x1600@60Hz – 28%
3840x2160@30Hz – 38%
Troubleshooting
Note: MST is currently not supported by Mac OS X or Chrome OS. MST is certified for use with Microsoft Windows
10, 8/8.1 and 7 devices.
