• Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and let it cool completely.
• Wipe the outside with a soft damp cloth.
• Do not use abrasive or chemical products which may deteriorate the housing.
• Never immerse the kettle, power base and cord in water or other liquid.
DESCALING
• To protect your kettle and ensure its constant efficiency, your kettle should be
periodically descaled.
• You can use the commercially available descaler or alternatively, you can use white
vinegar.
In this case:
- Fill the kettle with 3 cups of white vinegar and add water.
- Leave the solution in the kettle overnight. Then empty.
- Fill the kettle with clean water, boil and empty. Repeat several times until the odor of
vinegar has been flushed away.
- Remaining stains can be removed with a damp cloth.
