Warning
Make sure that the product is disconnected from the mains.
To remove the water tank, press the detent nose down and remove the
tank at an angle (approx. 45°). Open the valve on the underside of the
tank with a quarter turn to the left. Fill the tank with approx. 600 ml of
tap water and replace the valve.
Insert the tank at an angle and downwards. Lock the detent nose
again.
Note
• Do not move the air puri er when there is water in the water tank.
• If the machine has not been switched on for a long time, clean
the water tank and the water channel underneath in good time to
avoid contamination.
• One water tank lling is su cient for approx. 8 hours of air
humidi cation.
• Do not use fragrances or chemical additives in the water.
Cleaning the water tank and water storage container
Note
• Ensure that no water remains in the device.
• Operate the humidi er function only while there is evaporation mist
present. Stop the function when the water tank is empty.
• If the air puri er is not going to used for a prolonged period of
time, remove the water tank (9) and allow it to dry along with the
removed valve cover (10). When the water tank is not inserted, the
storage container (11) can also dry out.
• Check the secure closure of the outlet opening (12+13) at
regular intervals.
• Place the device only on solid, level and water-resistant
surfaces.
The damp climate in the tank and air puri er storage container
can encourage the growth of germs and bacteria in the water.
Contamination in the water can lead to algae growth. It is therefore
important to clean the humidi er weekly or, depending on how often it
is used, every 3 days.
To do this, proceed as follows:
Cleaning the water tank
• Switch the device off and disconnect it from the power supply.
• Remove the water tank (9).
• Remove the valve cover (10) and rinse the water tank (9) thoroughly
with lukewarm water. If there are limescale deposits or slight soiling
in the tank, conventional domestic washing-up liquid, universal
descaler (mixed according to the manufacturer's speci cations) or
e.g. 3 teaspoonfuls of vinegar added to 500 ml of water can be used.
• Then rinse the water tank (9) out thoroughly with plain water.

Cleaning the water storage container
• On the underside of the device is an outlet opening (12+13) for the
water storage container. For safety, this outlet opening (12+13) is
double-sealed with a cover cap (13) and a stopper (12).
• Position the device so that the cover (13) and stopper (12) can be
removed in an upright state. The device must not be tipped over since
this can cause water to spill out of the tank.
• Place a catching container under the air puri er.
• Fill the water tank with clean water. If there are limescale deposits
or slight soiling in the tank, conventional domestic washing-up
liquid, universal descaler (mixed according to the manufacturer's
speci cations) or e.g. 3 teaspoonfuls of vinegar added to 500 mL of
water can be used.
• Screw the valve cover (10) tight and insert the water tank in the
device so that the mixture runs into the storage container (11) and
cleans it.
• Remove the water tank (9) again.
• Then remove the cover cap (13) and the stopper (12) and allow
the water / cleaning solution to run into the catching container
underneath.
• Repeat the process if necessary, depending on the degree of soiling.
• Finally, rinse the storage container (11) thoroughly with plain water
and allow it to dry completely.
• Finally, rinse the water tank (9) thoroughly with plain water and allow
it to dry completely with the valve cover (10) open.
• Once fully dry, close the storage container with the stopper (12) and
cover cap (13).
• The water tank (9) can now be reinserted. The device is now ready
for use.
