• Do not use the lid while frying, neither when the oil is hot or getting hot.
• This appliance is not intended for using with an external timer or a
separate system of remote control.
• This appliance has been designed for domestic use only.
• Do not use the deep fryer with a damaged or deteriorated cable or plug.
• The cleaning and maintenance done by users, can not be done by children
without any supervision.
• If the cable were to deteriorate it must be changed by an Authorised
Service Centre.
INSTRUCTIONS OF USE
• Before using the deep fryer for the first time open the lid (1) and remove the basket (5).
• Place the handle (6) fixing it in the rod of the basket, press the two sticks at the same time and
turn it outwards to fix it correctly in the hook of the basket (8).
• Clean the basket and the tank with a damp cloth, and dry them carefully afterwards.
• Pour the oil into the tank (4). Bear in mind that the oil level must always be between the minimum
(MIN) and the maximum level (MAX). Both levels are indicated inside the tank.
• While you preparing the food for cooking you may heat up the oil. To do so, plug the deep fryer
into the mains. The pilot light (3) will go on and the oil will begin to heat up. Slice the temperature
selector (2) to the position according to the food to be fried. The higher temperatures are usually
the most adequate for frying food.
• Wait for the pilot light (3) goes off; then the oil will have reached the selected temperature.
• Place the food to be fried in the basket (5). This must be done with the basket out of the tank,
and the food must not exceed the three-quarter parts of its volume.
• If the food to be fried is in batter, it is advisable to put them with the basket in the oil to avoid
sticking to the basket.
• Put the basket with the food into the tank (4).
• Once the food are ready, remove the basket and await till they wring, leaving the basket hung
on its support (7) in the edge of the tank.
• Once the fried is finish, unplug the deep fryer from the mains.
• Await until it is completely cold and maintain the lid closed to keep the oil out of the environmental
particles.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
• Before you proceed to cleaning it, ensure the deep fryer is unplugged from the mains.
• The basket, the tank and the handle can be cleaned with soap and water taking care to rinse and
dry them well after cleaning.
• Do not use metallic objects for cleaning the tank as they can damage the coating.
• Clean the outside with a damp cloth.
• Do not use chemical or abrasive products, such as metallic scourers, which may deteriorate the
surfaces of the appliance.
