User Guide
Thank you for buying the U65 Nomad universal adapter! This manual will help you install
and use it properly.
Introduction
To ensure this product is correctly installed and used appropriately, we highly advise you
to read this user guide very carefully. This charging unit will ONLY supply power to the
laptops which work under 65 Watts. Before using the charger please check your
Notebook/Netbook manufacturer's user manual to ascertain the correct voltage. Please
also check the compatibility chart below for tip selection.
Safety instructions
IMPORTANT – installing and connecting this product in a way that does not comply with
accepted practices releases Infosec Communication from any liability.
Do not place the cord or device near heating elements or in places not good for ventilation.
IMPORTANT – Contains small parts likely to be swallowed. Not suitable for children under 36
months.
A charger belongs to the electronic and electrical equipment category. At the end of its useful
life it must be disposed of separately and in an appropriate
manner.
The CE logo means that this product answers to the european
EMC and LVD
If you don't want to keep the packaging, it must be recycled and
disposed of separately.

Operation steps
1. Insert the car plug to the car. Led indicator is on.
2. Plug AC cable into the charger unit. Led indicator is on.
3. Choose the right laptop DC tip (Check the compatibility chart).
4. Connect correct Tip to the output cable and connect the cable to the charger unit
5. Select the right output voltage range (either 18-21V ; or 15-17V). See schemes below.
6. Plug the charger into your Notebook/Nerbook and it will power and charge immediately.
7. The laptop will be working normally if every step is doing correctly.
To charge by USB (simultaneously) : Connect your USB cable to the USB port and move
the USB output function button depending on the product you want to charge (either 5V 1A ;
or 5V 2A)
Operation & Notes:
1.
When moves the DC output function button of car adaptor to the left, the
input is 18-21V charge for laptops and the LED indicator is blue. Then move
to the right side is 15-17V and the LED indicator is green.
2.
If you use the charger for different laptops and you need to change
connector, check carefully the voltage of this other laptop and chage the
voltage range if necessary.
