General description
The electric pump was designed and constructed to
pump and compress liquids at high pressure in industrial
applications.
The pumping action is provided by a series of pistons
connected to the drive shaft by a kinematic mechanism.
Main components
The basic version of the electric pump is illustrated in the diagram.
A) Electric motor
B) Pump head
C) Pump body
D) Piston pump
E) Drive shaft
F) Connecting rod
G) Guiding piston
H) Piston
L) Piston guide
M) Intake valve
N) Delivery valve
P) Wobble plate
Q) Pump head

The drive is generated by an electric motor flanged
directly to the pump.
When in operation, the pistons perform an axial stroke
inside the head, where the intake and delivery lines are
fitted with valves which allow the liquid to pass in one
direction only.
