GENERAL SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS

- Read the manual prior to using the unit.
- Keep the manual for further reference.
- For indoor use only. Do not use the unit in a humid environment.
- Do not use the unit close to heat sources or under direct sun light.
- If the mains adapter is faulty, it should only be replaced by a qualified technician. If the unit is
damaged to such an extent that you can see internal parts, do not plug the mains adapter into a
wall outlet and do not switch the unit on. Contact your dealer.
- Make sure that no liquids or small components can enter the housing.
- Use a damp, dust-free cloth to clean the unit. Do not use cleaners or solvents!
- The unit doesn't contain user serviceable parts other than those specified in this manual.
- The unit should only be repaired by a SkyTronic approved repair service.
- Only use the unit if the NEON lamp and the base are fastened closely together.
- The NEON tube is very sensitive. Be careful and hold the unit always at the base.
Installation
Unpack the neon lamp carefully.
Prior to using the unit, the neon lamp must be glued to the base for safety reasons.
This has only to be done once before you operate the unit.
Prior to gluing, proceed as follows;
- Open the glue tube and cut a small piece from the mouthpiece.
- Apply small drops around the inside edge where you will place the neon lamp.
- Place the NEON lamp on the base and press it on the base during a few seconds. CAUTION!!
Only press on the holder at the bottom NOT on the neon tube itself.
- Check afterwards if the glue is dry and the neon lamp is firmly fastened on the base.
Operation
Make sure that the unit is switched off prior to plugging the mains adapter into a wall outlet.
Plug the mains adapter into a wall outlet and switch the unit on and off via the ON/OFF switch on the
unit.
The glue tube and a faulty neon tube must be disposed of as small chemical waste.
