Connecting
1) A DI box converts an unbalanced signal of an electric guitar or a
keyboard into a balanced signal for connecting to any microphone
input of a mixing console or microphone preamplifier. In addition,
the impedance of the Hi-Z signal is adapted to the low-impedance
input.
2) In order to obtain the best sound quality, please use only high-quality
cables. Please make sure that the cables are properly connected.
3) Connect your audio source (e.g. electrical guitar, bass, keyboard etc.)
to the INPUT jack.

4) If you want to loop-thru the input signal to a guitar amplifier etc.,
connect the LINK output to the input of the amplifier using a stan-
dard mono jack cable.
5) If any noise occurs, please activate the Ground-Lift switch. In additi-
on, you may adapt the input gain using the PAD switch as required
(+20dB for low-level line sources, 0dB for electric guitars, -30dB for
power amplifier outputs) if any clipping occurs.
6) Connect the OUTPUT socket with any XLR microphone preamplifier
input on your mixing desk using a balanced XLR cable.
