If you would like to remove the mains plug from the socket, nev-

er pull the cable, but rather the plug. Touch the mains plug only
with dry hands.
Avoiding damage to materials, property and the product
Place the lamp only at a min. distance of 20 cm to fl ammable
■
materials such as curtains etc.
Always place the lamp on an even, stable, and dry underground.

Ensure that the lamp cannot fall into water or become wet.
■
Do not cover the lamp, e. g. with draps or anything else. This
■
could lead to fi re.
Do only use bulbs, which correspond to the technical data (see
■
section "Technical Data").
Do not drop the lamp or allow it to be knocked violently.

Do not expose the lamp to extreme temperatures, strong tem-
■
perature fl uctuations or moisture.
Ensure that it is not possible for others to trip over the lamp and
■
the connected mains cable.
Position the cable in such a way that it does not become
■
squashed or bent and does not come into contact with hot sur-
faces.
