Make sure that the trimmer is clean and lubricated. Sit a person for hair
cutting in such a way that she would have the top of the head at your eye
level. Wrap a towel around the neck and shoulders.
•
Comb the hair thoroughly before cutting it. This ensures that the hair will not
be tangled.
•
You achieve the optimum result when cutting dry hair.
[C] Loading the rechargeable battery
Before first time use, the hair trimmer must be fully charged.
1. Switch the trimmer off.
2. Put the trimmer in the charging adapter and then plug the adapter into
the electrical outlet.
3. When charging, the light, indicating connection of the charging adapter,
will come on.
4. Do not allow the charger to charge for more than 8 hours. Excessive
charging decreases the life of the battery.
5. About every three months discharge the trimmer completely and
recharge again. This way, you extend the life of the battery.
Note about the rechargeable battery
The rechargeable battery does not have its full capacity from the start. To
obtain the maximum charge capacity the battery should be fully charged prior
to being used for the first time and then the hair trimmer should be used until the
batteries are completely flat.
The batteries should then be fully recharged. To increase the life of the
rechargeable batteries, this charging and discharging procedure should be
repeated approximately every three months.
[D] Cutting short hair

For an extremely short haircut, you can use the trimmer with one of the
double sided attachments.

It is usually best to start at the neck and proceed to the top of the head.
Then cut the front and the top part of the head and the sides as last.

Always start with the guiding comb designed for the longest cut. After
cutting the hair from all angles, use the attachments for a shorter haircut
and finish the final styling.
•
Hold the trimmer so that the flat side of the comb attachment is turned to
the head and cut the hair against the direction of growth. This ensures an
even haircut.
