‘Ready’ lamp will illuminate. Now open the Nova Croque Star and place the sandwich in the usual way on the lower plate, i.e. first the bread, then the filling, then another piece of bread. Close the sandwich toaster (do not press the plates against each other too vigorously) and use the clip on the handle to lock the plates in position. - Page 6 Clean the toaster after each use. This prevents leftover food from becoming encrusted in the appliance. Let the Nova Croque Star cool down after use. Never pour cold water onto the plates. This may damage the appliance and can cause spattering of hot water. Do not use any abrasive cleaning products.
