• Do not place the appliance next to hot areas, for example gas rings
and electric hotplates.
Power cable, plug and mains socket
• Ensure that the power cable is fully extended.
• Do not allow the power cable to hang over the edge of a table/
counter, and keep it away from hot objects and naked flames.
• Regularly check the power cable and plug for damage and do not
use the appliance if you that either of them is damaged, or if the
appliance has been dropped or damaged in any other way.
• If either the appliance or the plug is damaged, it must be inspected
and, if necessary, repaired by an authorized repair engineer,
otherwise there is a risk of electric shock. Never try to repair the
appliance yourself.
• Avoid pulling the power cable when removing the plug from the
socket. Instead, hold the plug.
• Make sure that it is not possible to pull or trip over the power cable
or any extension cable.
Setting the speed
When pressing the on/off switch "b", the processing speed
corresponds to the setting of Speed switch "a". The higher the
setting, the faster the chopping results.
