Meliconi's AV 100 MINI is designed to transfer the audio/video signal in a house, without wires.
The composite video signal of any audio/video source (SAT decoder, DTT decoder, DVD, video camera, VCR)
is transmitted to a second television in another room of the house. By operating on the 5.8 GHz frequency band,
which is less subject to disturbances compared to the 2.4 GHz band, it guarantees a high quality audio and
video transmission between appliances up to 20 metres apart, even through walls and ceilings. Moreover its
compact design reduces the space required compared to traditional Av senders.
NB: to use a device with AV 100 MINI it must have a SCART socket.
• Keep away from water: the device must not be exposed to drips or splashes of water. Do not use in a
damp environment.

accessible.
• Do not expose to excessive heat sources.
• Do not cover the product, use only with the aerial open, do not block the ventilation holes.
• Use only the power adaptors supplied.
• Connect the power adaptors only to a 230 V

The AV 100 MINI consists of a transmitter and a receiver.
To distinguish them look for the words TRANSMITTER and RECEIVER printed on the labels on the bottom of
the products.
The transmitter must be connected to the appliance connected to the main television. (TV 1)
The receiver must be connected to the second television. (TV 2)
All connections must be made with the jack video / SCART cables supplied.
Installing the AV 100 MINI transmitter: main television
T1. To connect the transmitter use the jack video/SCART cable with the "For Transmitter" label (Fig. A). Plug
the jack in the AV socket on the back of the transmitter (Fig. 4). Be careful not to plug the AV jack in the
Power jack (DC 9V) socket because it could damage it. Plug the SCART connector of the same cable in the
SCART OUT socket of the appliance you want to transmit the signal from (e.g. Sat decoder).
T2. Set the double channel selector, (Fig. 5) on one of the 7 possible combinations. The 4-position selector on
the side allows you to select the desired channel (1,3,5,7 or 2,4,6,X); the 2-position selector on the right
allows you to switch from the even number channels to the odd number channels.
ATTENTION: the X position does not correspond to any channel.
IMPORTANT: set the double channel selector (Fig. 5) on the same combination for the transmitter and the
receiver.
T3. Plug the power adaptor connector to the socket on the back of the transmitter (DC 9V).
T4. Plug the power adaptor to an easily accessible wall socket.
T5. Position the transmitter close to the television, but not too close to other audio video devices as they may
create interference. We recommend a distance of about 50 cm. Open the aerial and point it in the direction
of the receiver (Fig 6).
T6. Switch on the transmitter (ON/OFF switch - Fig. 4) and make sure that the front power warning light comes
on (green LED).
T7. Switch on the appliance connected to the AV 100 MINI and start it (ON or Power for the decoder, PLAY for
the video recorder or DVD).
