 Wait for approx. 8 minutes and then set the temperature con-
trol back to the lowest level.
 Disconnect the plug from the mains socket.
 Fold back the lid.
 Allow the appliance to cool down.
 Once it has cooled down, wipe the cooking surfaces thorough-
ly with kitchen towel.
NOTE!
When cleaning the cooking surfaces after using the appliance for the
first time, please dispose of the first waffle without eating it.
5.2. Cooking waffl es
 Prepare the batter.
 Close the lid and insert the mains plug into the power socket.
 Turn the temperature control to the required heat level.
PLEASE NOTE!
Select a medium temperature at the beginning until you have got used
to the different temperature levels. You can also correct the temperature
during the cooking process. When the green light lights up (after ap-
prox. 2-3 minutes), the cooking temperature has been reached.
 Fold back the lid.
 Slowly and carefully fill the lower cooking surfaces with a ladle of batter.
 Add the batter to the centre of the cooking surfaces. The liquid batter should
spread outwards. Only add enough batter so that approx. 2 cm of the cooking
area is still free of batter around the edge!
 Fold the lid back down and push down lightly on the lid.
The green indicator light goes out and the waffle maker will heat up again until it
reaches the set temperature. This is also the cooking process.
CAUTION!
Risk of scalding!
The steam that escapes from the appliance during the
cooking process is hot and there is a risk of scalding.

Avoid touching the steam.

Use oven gloves for this reason.
