Switch ON/OFF
First time use
Assemble plastic poles with plastic connection.
a) We advise to keep the light OFF during 24hours in order to well charge batteries.
b) After 24 hours, remove solar puck from lantern, and set the switch to the "ON"
position.
c) Place the solar light in a location where it can receive a full 8 hours of sunshine to
allow the rechargeable battery to reach maximum capacity.
The switch has to be left in the "ON" position and the light will turn on automatically at dusk.
3. Battery replacement
Note: this operation should be done in the morning on a sunny day. This will allow the
lantern to receive a full 8 hours of sunlight so that the rechargeable battery can reach
maximum capacity.
 Open two transparent heads from solar head and set the switch to the "OFF" position.
 Remove battery cover
 Remove the old battery and replace with 1 new AA size 1.2V rechargeable batteries of
same or greater capacity (mAh). ----------------USE RECHARGEABLE BATTERY
ONLY!!!
 Closed battery compartment cover, then close transparent heads
 Leave switch OFF in order to charge the battery during 24 to 48 hours, then turn ON.
4. Troubleshooting and Caution
If your solar light does not operate properly at night, it may be caused by one of the
following:
 Ensure that the solar lantern is in a bright sunny location and not in a shady are during
the day.
 Make sure that the switch is turned on.
 Other lights can cause flickering in a solar light or even prevent it operating.
 Check the battery in case it needs replacing: see "Maintenance" above.
LED can't be changed
 Safe for outdoor use.
 Remove the batteries if consumed or if the product is to be left unused for a long period
of time.
 Low winter light lever in your location may lead you to decide to store your light indoor
until condition improved. If so, clean and dry the solar panel, turn off the switch or
remove the battery. Store in a dry spot and reassemble in spring as described in "First
time use"

Batteries should never be thrown away or incinerated but disposed of in accordance with the local regulations concerning
chemical waste. Bring it to the nearest collecting place –
The product constitutes the applicable product according to the WEEE and ROHS directives; when discarding the
unit, comply with local rules or regulations. To hold out of children: small parts should be
introduced.
