GETTING STARTED

1. Attaching accessories
Attach the accessories to the pistol handle or one or two extension tubes.
2. Filling the water tank
•
Suitable water: Tap water, demineralised water or distilled bottled water.
•
Always use clear, pure water.
•
To ensure the long-life of your appliance, we recommend that you use mix tap water and
non-perfumed demineralised water (50:50).
•
NEVER use pure demineralised water, water collected from a tumble drier or water softener or
rain water.
Note: Switch off your appliance before filling.
•
Release the safety button from the water tank No. 2
•
Fill the water tank using the filling beaker No. 6 (max. 750 ml) and funnel No. 5.
•
Replace the water tank safety button.
Note: The safety button will not open when there is pressure in the heater.
•
You must remove any steam or leave the appliance to cool before opening.
3. Getting started
•
Plug the appliance into an earthed socket
•
Press the ON button No. 7.
•
The pressure indicator light No. 5 is illuminated.
•
The appliance is ready to emit steam when this indicator light changes colour:
•
It changes from orange to green.
•
Remove the steam safety lock No. 8 and press the steam On/Off button No. 9 positioned on the
pistol handle to generate steam.
Note: After use, press the steam button for a few seconds to remove any residual condensation
water in the main hose.
