III. USE OF THE PRODUCT
III.1 BEFORE THE FIRST USE
Carefully read these instructions and keep them close at hand.
Remove all the packaging.
Clean the plates using a sponge or a damp cloth.
Never immerse the entire appliance in water or put it in the dishwasher.
Dry with a cloth or a paper towel.
For best results, oil the cooking plates slightly.
Instructions: When using for the first time, there may be a slight smell and some smoke.
This is normal with this type of appliance. This has no effect on the safety of your appliance.
III.2 USING THE APPLIANCE
1. Place the appliance on a stable surface.
2. Open the appliance by moving the button (4) upwards to unlock it.
3. To remove and replace the plates, press the buttons (6).
4. Make sure that the plates are stable, well-positioned and properly clipped in place on
the appliance.
5. Close the waffle maker and plug the cable to the mains power. The red light (5A) lights
up. Pre-heat the appliance and the green light (5B) switches on when the cooking
temperature has been attained.
6. Open the appliance and place the preparations on the lower plates (waffle, toasted
sandwich).
7. Close the appliance.
8. Let the preparation cook for approximately 5 minutes by adjusting the cooking time to
your taste.
9. When it is ready, use the handle to open the appliance. Remove the food using a plastic
or wooden spatula. Never use metal tongs or a knife because they can cause damage to
the cooking plates.
10. When you have finished, unplug the appliance and leave it open to cool down.
IV.CARE AND STORAGE
efore cleaning, unplug the appliance and leave it to cool down for 1 hour.

The plates can the cleaned in the dishwasher or use a damp sponge with some dish
washing liquid. Rinse them and dry them thoroughly.
