Note:
The radio can be charged only when the radio is off. Connect the AC power cord into the AC socket to
charge the batteries. Be sure the battery type switch is set to Ni/MH position.
When the batteries are being charged, the red Charge LED will be on. Charging time can take up to
approx. 10 hours depending on the battery capacity of the rechargeable batteries. When the batteries
are fully charged, the charged LED will be steady on green color.
Note:
Charge new batteries fully the first time before first use. This can take longer depending on the
capacity of the rechargeable batteries.
- Do not use a mix of old and new rechargeable batteries.
- Do not use a mix of full and empty rechargeable batteries.
- Do not use batteries that have a different mAh capacity.
- Do not use damaged or leaking batteries.
Using the radio for the first time
1. Place your radio on a flat surface.
2. Please press the Power button to switch on your radio. It may be necessary to relocate your
radio to a position giving better reception. You should then carry out a scan to find stations
in FM.
Setting the clock time
The users can not set the clock time manually, but the FM RDS performs automatically CT alignment.
1. Press the source to FM radio, select a FM radio station which provides RDS CT service, the
clock will be aligned in 5 minutes once the CT service is available.
2. Press the Info button to check if the clock screen has a correct time alignment.
3. This aligned clock will be the new system clock for SD/USB playing mode.
4. The aligned clock will be reset to 0:00 once the power is off, then the user need to do the
automatic alignment of FM RDS CT again.
