Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the USB 3.1 Type C to DisplayPort
Converter, bidirectional. This product has been designed to
provide trouble free, reliable operation. It benefits from both a
LINDY 2 year warranty and free lifetime technical support. To
ensure correct use, please read this manual carefully and retain
it for future reference.
This bidirectional USB 3.1 Type C to DisplayPort Converter
allows to either connect a DisplayPort display to a USB Type C
source device or alternatively a USB Type C display to a
DisplayPort source device. The converter features a USB Type
C plug with pin assignment E as well as one with pin
assignment C to make sure that all kinds of displays with USB

Installation & Operation
The DisplayPort Alternate Mode on the USB Type C connector
standard uses the USB C connector as a video output without
the need for additional drivers or software.
•
Connect the USB 3.1 Type C connector with pin assignment
E to the USB Type C port on a source device.
•
Connect a Male to Male DisplayPort cable (not included)
from the female DisplayPort on the converter to the
DisplayPort on the display.
•
Power on the source and finally the display device.
If you want to connect a display with USB Type C interface to a
PC/source device with DisplayPort output, make sure to use the
USB Type C plug with the correct pin assignment for your
display.
Please Note: When using USB Type C source devices, take care
to insert the pin assignment E USB Type C connector. If the pin
assignment C is connected, no video will be displayed.

Dieser bidirektionale USB 3.1 Typ C auf DisplayPort
Konverter ermöglicht den Anschluss eines DisplayPort-
Monitors an einen Computer mit USB Typ C Port oder
alternativ den Anschluss eines Displays mit USB-Anschluss
Typ C an ein DisplayPort-Quellgerät. Der Konverter verfügt
über je einen USB-Stecker Typ C mit Pinbelegung C und E
um sicherzustellen, dass alle Displays mit USB Typ C Port
unterstützt werden.

Installation & Betrieb
Der DisplayPort Alternate Mode verwendet den USB Typ C-
Anschluss als Videoausgang, eine Installation von Treibern ist
daher nicht erforderlich.
Stecken Sie den USB Typ C-Stecker mit Pinbelegung E des
Konverters in die USB Typ C-Buchse Ihres Computers und
verbinden Sie den DisplayPort-Anschluss des Konverters mit
dem Ihres Monitors. Dazu benötigen Sie ein DisplayPort-
Kabel Stecker – Stecker (nicht enthalten), welches im
Allgemeinen Ihrem Monitor beiliegt. Wenn Sie ein Display mit
USB-Anschluss Typ C mit einer Displayportquelle verbinden
wollen, achten Sie bitte darauf, den USB-Stecker mit der für
Ihr Display geeigneten Pinbelegung C bzw. E zu verwenden.
Beachten Sie bitte, dass nur der USB-Stecker Typ C mit
Pinbelegung E am PC oder einem anderen Quellgerät
funktioniert. Bei Anschluss des USB-Steckers Typ C mit
Pinbelegung C wird kein Videosignal übertragen.
