Make sure that the air intake openings are not clogged with extraneous bodies (fl uff,
hair, etc.) to avoid the overheating of the appliance!
If the curling tongs are used in the bathroom, remove the mains plug after use as the
close proximity of water represents a hazard. This also applies when the hairdryer is
switched off.
As additional protection we recommend the installation of a fault current protection
device (RCD) with a rated current of not more than 30 mA in the wiring system of the
bathroom. Please contact an authorised electrician for advice.
1. Fully unwind the mains cable.
2. Fit on a nozzle. Please ensure that the selected nozzle has locked fi rmly in place.

3. Allow the nozzle to cool down before removing it by pulling it off towards the front.

4. Electrical connection

Make sure that the iron voltage (see name plate) and the mains voltage match. The
voltage can be changed from 115 V to 230 V by means of the switch on the side of the
device; use a screwdriver or similar implement if necessary.
5. Insert the plug in a duly installed 230V/50Hz socket.
6. Set the desired heating level using the multiple-contact switch:

7. Dry your hair with a towel and then curl it evenly, e.g. on the round brush, or shape your
hair with the device switched on to create the hairstyle you desire.
8. In order to release the hair more easily from the round brush and volume attachment,
press the button above the step switch and carefully unroll the strands of hair.
9. After use, turn the device to „0" and remove the mains plug. Leave it cool for a few
minutes before putting it away.
