• Do not clean mechanical, automatic/self-winding
watches. The watch's spiral spring may become
magnetized and result in a loss of accuracy of
your watch.
• The cleaning process can cause water to enter the
watch and damage it if the watch is not entirely
waterproof.
• Only use the unit to clean watches that are
guaranteed waterproof to a depth of 165 feet/30
m. Follow all watch manufacturer instructions.
• As watches get older, they frequently become
less waterproof. Have your watch tested for
watertightness before using this unit to clean it.
• Ensure that the watch is positioned sideways in
order to prevent scratches on the glass.
Using the removable cleaning basket
Since small items can move around during ultrasonic
excitation and become scratched, you may want to
use the removable cleaning basket for these items.
Note, however, that using the removable cleaning
basket may reduce cleaning power.
Cleaning larger items
You can also use the unit to clean larger items that
do not fit entirely into the Water Basin. To do so,
place the item to be cleaned partially into the Water
Basin but do not touch or hold the item during
cleaning. When placing these larger items, make
sure the unit does not tip over.
Intensive cleaning
For intensive cleaning of heavily soiled items, you
may need to repeat the cleaning process several
times. Do not clean an item more than three times
in a row. After three cleaning cycles, let the unit cool
down for about five minutes before reuse. Empty
and refill the Water Basin before subsequent uses.
1. Open the Lid and place items to be cleaned into
the Water Basin.
2. Fill the Water Basin with clean, fresh water up to
the MAX mark and close the Lid.
3. Connect the power cord to a standard 110 VAC
electrical outlet.
4. Press the Power Button and then press the Timer
Button to select a cleaning duration: 1:30 / 3:00 /
4:30 / 6:00 / 7:30 minutes.
5. Press the START Button to begin cleaning. Note
that the water in the Water Basin may warm
slightly during the cleaning process.
6. The remaining cleaning time is shown on the LCD
Display. The unit will shut off when the cleaning
time has elapsed.
7. After three cleaning cycles, empty and refill the
Water Basin.
8. If not satisfied with the results, repeat the process.
Stopping a cleaning cycle
To cancel cleaning at any time, press the Power
Button.
CAUTION:
As a precaution, enquire in the store where you have
purchased the item whether it is suitable for cleaning
using the unit.
Do not use the unit for cleaning sensitive or porous
stones, such as those listed below since they may
become damaged due to their structure:
• Pearl and nacre
• Emerald
• Opal
• Coral
• Turquoise
• Lapis lazuli
• Malachite
• Black onyx
• Tiger's eye
After cleaning
1. Open the Lid and remove the items from the Water
Basin/Screen Insert.
2. Dry the cleaned items using a clean, dry cloth and
allow the items to continue drying on the cloth if
necessary.
3. Empty all the water unless you are going to clean
any additional items.

6. Care, Maintenance and Disposal

The unit and its accessories should be cleaned
occasionally.
NOTICE: Unplug the power cord from the electrical
outlet and allow the device to cool before cleaning.
Clean using a damp cloth, to which you can apply
a little detergent if necessary. Do not use abrasive
detergents and never immerse the unit in water. Wipe
the Water Basin clean using a dry, lint-free cloth.
Do not use abrasive cleaning sponges and the like
because they could scratch or damage the stainless
steel Water Basin.
• Ensure that no water enters the inside of the unit!
• Do not put the unit or accessories in a dishwasher.
• Do not touch the device with wet hands while it is
plugged in; do not allow any water to be sprayed
