Introduction Congratulation on buying the SAVA 1014™! With the SAVA 1014™ you can extend the IR (infra-red) signals from your own remote control. The SAVA 1014™ gives you the opportunity to control your A/V equipment when it’s stored away in a closed cabinet or placed out of sight. -
Page 6: How Does It Work
How does it work? Locate your A/V device in a closed cabinet or TV unit. The IR receiver (1) must be located in view of your remote control. Stick the IR blaster LEDs (2) wherever you like in the cabinet or TV unit. You will then be able to operate all of the A/V devices in that specific section. -
Page 7: Locating The Ir Receiver
Locating the IR receiver Place the very small IR receiver (1) that comes with the SAVA 1014™ so that it can be seen by your (infrared) remote control and receive the commands (max. 10 metres). • The most logical location for the IR receiver is, for example, on the cabinet in which the A/V equipment is located or near the TV. -

Locating the IR (infrared) blaster led Stick the IR blaster LEDs (2) wherever you like in the cabinet or TV unit. You will then be able to operate all of the A/V devices in that specific section. • With a correct placement one blaster LED can control all A/V devices placed in the same compartment. -
Page 9: Connecting The Ir Module
Connect the USB Power adapter to the ‘POWER’ connection on the IR Module and plug this into an electrical socket. If the SAVA 1014™ is correctly connected, the ‘IR data’ light will blink on the IR Module if you press a button on the (infrared) remote control while pointing towards the IR receiver. -

Wie funktioniert es? Stellen Sie Ihre A/V Geräte in einem geschlossenen Stereoschrank oder TV Lowboard auf. Der IR Empfänger (1) muss in Sichtweite Ihrer eigenen Fernbedienung installiert werden. Kleben Sie die IR Blaster LED’s (2) an eine beliebige Stelle im Schrank oder TV Lowboard, um sämtliche A/V Geräte in ein und demselben Fach bedienen zu können. -

• Leuchtet die “IR Daten” Leuchte am IR Modul fortwährend, dann wird der IR Empfänger möglicherweise durch ein Infrarot Störsignal gestört. Achten Sie bei der Aufstellung des IR Empfängers darauf, dass sich zwischen Empfänger und Sender möglichst wenig Störquellen wie direkt einstrahlendes Sonnenlicht, Flachbildfernseher (LCD, Plasma, LED), TL Beleuchtung oder Sparlampen befinden. -

Come funziona? Collocare le apparecchiature A/V in un armadio o mobile per TV chiuso. Si deve installare il ricevitore IR (1) in vista del proprio telecomando. Collegare l’adattatore di alimentazione USB alla presa “POWER” del modulo IR ed infilarlo in una presa di corrente. Se l’SAVA 1014™ è stato collegato in modo corretto lampeggerà la spia “IR data” sul modulo IR quando si preme un tasto del telecomando (ad infrarossi) puntandolo verso il ricevitore IR. -
