The appliance must be connected to an equipotential system. The connection screw is positioned on the rear part
of the appliance and is distinguished by the symbol

Before using the appliance for the first cooking it must be thoroughly cleaned, (see the paragraph "Cleaning and
maintenance").
Check the connection of the appliance and then start it following the instructions.
Warning:
Never leave the working appliance unattended!
Never use the hot plate without a pan.
Pans must have a smooth bottom with a suitable diameter for the hotplate (never smaller).
Each hotplate is connected to a commutator which has 6 settings,
temperatures.
Each hotplate is equipped with a temperature limiting device which cuts off the supply of electricity when it reaches
a temperature of 450°C.
The cooking tops are appliances for cooking any type of food (meat, legumes, rice, fish, eggs, vegetables, etc) as
long as suitable
pots are used.

Turn on the main switch placed upstream from the appliance. Turn the command knob (A) corresponding to
the hotplate from "0" to the desired heating degree between 1 and 6. Pilot light (C) will turn on as soon as
the appliance is live. It is recommended to turn on the hotplate at maximum and as soon as the temperature
has been reached bring the command knob to the desired level. To turn off the hotplate put the knob back to
position "0".
