ADDITIONAL SAFETY RULES

GRASS TRIMMER
USE ONLY TRIMMING LINE
Never fit metal cutting elements.
REPLACEMENT PARTS
Never use replacement parts or accessories
not provided or recommended by the
manufacturer. Call the Customer Help Line on
1-888-874-8661 for advice.
DISCONNECT
Disconnect the line trimmer from the mains
before checking, cleaning or working on the
line trimmer and when not in use.
KEEP COOLING VENTS CLEAR
Always ensure that the ventilation openings
are kept clear of debris.
KEEP CABLE CLEAR OF CUTTING EDGES
Be aware of the position of the cable at all
times. Keep it away from the cutting line.
DO NOT USE IN THE RAIN
Never use the line trimmer in the rain, or in wet
conditions.
STORAGE
When not in use, the line trimmer should be
stored in a dry, secure place out of the reach of
children.
CLEANING
Keep the line trimmer clean and in a good
condition. Keep the handles and grips dry and
clean.
EXTENSION CABLES
If an extension cable is used it must be suitable
for use outdoors and so marked.
SWITCHING OFF
The cutting line will continue to rotate for a
short time after the On/Off switch has been
released.
USE OF LINE TRIMMER
This line trimmer should be used exclusively
for trimming grass. Do not use it for any other
purposes.
