• Tone Control
Press Bass+ / Bass- or Treble+ / Treble- to adjust the bass or the treble response respectively.
• Broadcasting Band and Frequency Selection
Press AM or FM to select the broadcasting band. Turn the frequency knob to tune in to a station. Note that
deploying the aerial will enhance reception.
• Other Controls
Press Aux in to play an external audio source after having connected the player to the AUX jack.
Press SD/MMC to play user files stored onto the SD / MMC card.
5. Connecting the FM3 to the Computer
Insert the SD / MMC card into the slot and connect the FM3 to the computer using a USB cable (not incl.). Press
SD/MMC on the remote control. Your FM3 automatically enters the USB mode. For Windows ME / 2000 / XP users:
Open My Computer to find a new FM3 icon. You can now copy, delete and edit data. Do not unplug the USB cable or
remove the SD / MMC card during data transfer to avoid data loss.
To unplug the FM3 from the computer: Click the icon with left mouse key, click the prompt menu USB Mass Storage
Device and click OK in the pop-up window. The USB Mass Storage Device can now safely be removed from the
system. Unplug the FM3 from the computer.
To play files from your SD / MMC card: Press SD/MMC on the remote control after having inserted the SD / MMC
card into the slot. Playing will automatically start. Supported formats are MP1, MP2, MP3 and WMA.
