USER-MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
After each use:
Clean the surface with an air blaster or medium
bristle brush to remove any remaining abrasive material.
Always disconnect the tool from
the air supply before performing
any maintenance.
Changing nozzles:
Periodically (depending on the amount of grit accu-
mulated in the nozzle and the amount of use), the nozzle
will become worn, causing the spray to become irregular
or to stop.
1. Disconnect the sandblaster from the air supply.
2. Remove the nozzle cap (R) by turning it counterclockwise and then remove the nozzle (Q).
3. Gently insert the new nozzle (Q) and replace the nozzle cap (R).
NOTE: For replacement nozzles, contact the number on the back of this manual.
Changing air jets:
Occasionally (after approximately 3-4 nozzle replacements), the air jet (O) will need to be replaced. NOTE:
When the air jet is worn, it will deflect the flow of abrasive material downward and cut a groove in the
nozzle.
1. Disconnect the sandblaster from the air supply.
2. Loosen the allen socket screw (S) from the tool with the hex key wrench (included).
3. Remove the nozzle assembly (P).
4. Remove the air jet (O). NOTE: If the air jet is stuck, tap the nozzle assembly lightly until the air jet is
dislodged.
5. Gently drop the new air jet with washer and o-ring into the nozzle assembly (P) as shown in Figure 3.
6. Reassemble the nozzle assembly. Tighten the allen socket screw (S) securely, making sure that it is seating
in the proper groove on the gun handle. NOTE: Insure that the nozzle assembly is holding the air jet and
rubber sealing washer tight against the gun body.
NOTE: Periodically check the siphon hose for leaks or cracks.

CORRECTIVE ACTION
Replace rubber washer.
Replace wet abrasive material with dry material.
Damp material can be reused after it has dried.
Drain compressor tank and install an in-line filter.
Replace rubber washer.
Tighten the allen socket screw on the nozzle assembly
and make sure the nozzle cap is tight.
Reduce the air pressure to 30 PSI and hold the gun
nozzle tip against a flat surface. Pull the trigger to
force any stuck material back out of the siphon hose.
Replace wet abrasive material with dry material.
Damp material can be reused after it has dried.
Replace air jet and/or nozzle.
Remove and clean air jet and nozzle.
Uncover siphon hose hole.
