IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following:
1)
Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance.
2)
When giving your appliance to third person, make sure to give him/her the instruction manual as well.
3)
Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the appliance.
4)
Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use. Keep out of reach of children or incompetent persons.
Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is used by or near children.
5)
From time to time check the cord for damaged. Never use the appliance if cord or replaced by a competent
qualified electrician.
6)
All repairs should be made by a competent qualified electrician.
7)
Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in these instructions, do not use outdoors.
Only use this mixer for cooking purposes.
8)
To protect against risk of electrical shock, never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid for any reason
whatever. Never place it into the dishwasher.
9)
Never use the appliance near hot surfaces.
10)
Always unplug the appliance from outlet when it is not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, and before
cleaning.
11)
Avoid contacting moving parts.
12)
Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or is dropped or
damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or
electrical or mechanical adjustment.
13)
Never use the appliance outside and always place it in a dry environment.
14)
Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter.
15)
Never use accessories that are not recommended by the producer. They could constitute a danger to the user
and risk to damage the appliance.
16)
This kind of appliance cannot function continuously; it is not a professional type of appliance. It is necessary to
make temporary stops. Check the section "important information" in the instruction manual.
17)
It is absolutely necessary to keep this appliance clean at all times as it comes into direct contact with food.
18)
Make sure the appliance is unplugged before inserting, removing or cleaning one of the accessories. It is
absolutely necessary to remove the accessories before cleaning them.
19)
Make sure the accessory is always solidly and correctly tightened at the motor bloc starting the appliance.
20)
Keep hands, hair, clothing , as well as spatulas and other utensils away from beaters during operation to reduce
the risk of injury to persons, and/or damage to the mixer.
21)
Remove beaters from mixer before washing.
22)
Unplug before inserting or removing parts.
23)
The appliance is designed for the preparation of small quantities of food that have to be consumed rather quickly.
It is not designed for the preparation of large quantities at once.
24)
Never use several accessories simultaneously.
