Formatting the internal memory: you can format the monocular internal memory by
pressing the "PHOTO" button. An N appears on the screen, followed by a formatting
confirmation request. Press the "COLOR PALETTE" button and then the "PHOTO" button to
complete formatting. Please do not perform any other operation until the formatting is
complete. Note: all files stored in the internal memory will be deleted after formatting. Please
operate with caution.
9. Visibility adjustment
Adjust the clarity of the monocular to best suit your eyesight using the visibility
adjustment knob on the side of product.
10. Cautions for use
− The VIS1055 thermal vision monocular has an uncooled microbolometer detector that
uses a highly sensitive thermal sensor. Never directly aim the lens at a strong source
of radiation (such as the sun, a laser beam, reflective surface, etc.) regardless of
whether the product is switched on or off. This would cause permanent damage to the
monocular.
− Before first use, check the initial battery charge. If necessary, charge it for three hours
before use. When charging, do not expose to a temperature higher than 40°C.
− Keep the product out of reach of children.
11. Maintenance
Lens
− Do not wipe the lens to remove loose dust or debris; instead, gently blow any impurity
away or use a soft lens brush.
− Fingerprints may affect the lens surface after some time. The easiest way to cleanse
the lens is to breathe on the lens surface, then gently wipe it using a lint-free optics-
cleaning cloth.
− Use of a coarse cloth or unnecessary rubbing may scratch the lens surface and
eventually cause permanent damage.
− Do not use a velvet cloth or ordinary tissue, as it may scratch the lens surface.
− A cloth that has been used to clean the body of the product should not be used on the
lens surface.
− For a more thorough cleaning, camera lens cleaning wipes may be used.
