Recording with data logger
5.3 Recording with the data logger (only Therm 300).
The Therm 300 Thermometer allows the recording of up to
1000 measurement values using the internal data logger.
The internally memorized data must be transferred to a PC
for evaluation purposes.
If a long term recording is requested, the power sup-
ply must be realized using the connection for an exter-
nal power supply.
Switch on the instrument while the auto power off func-
tion is deactivated.
Before starting the measurement, the desired parame-
ters (type of measurement, unit, etc.) must be set.
Clear any measurement data available in the memory
(identifiable by the M symbol).
It is advised to transfer the data to a PC for archiving
before deleting the data.
To start the recording, press the SHIFT + MIN/MAX keys.
A brief double beep is audible if further measurement
data is available within the memory.
The setting mode for the sampling rate is displayed
after activation of the recording. The desired value is
set by means of the LIMIT key "arrow up" or the LIMIT
key "arrow down". Available sampling rates are: 1s, 2s,
5s, 10s, 20s, 30s, 1min, 2min, 5min, 10min, 15min,
20min, 30min, 1h.
Start the data recording by pressing the HOLD key.
When the data recording is active, the "REC" symbol is blin-
king and the memory address number of the measurement
data is displayed in the top part of the display screen. Fur-
thermore, the elapsed time since activation is displayed at
the top right corner.
Press again the SHIFT + MIN/MAX keys to end the re-
cording.
